Maungdaw, Arakan State:
The authority – Burma border security force (Nasaka) –is forcing
Rohingya community to register as Bengali, with registration process
which includes taking digital fingerprints and photographs since early
this month, according to a village admin officer from Maungdaw.
The Rohingya situation goes back to many decades. It's sad the government refuses to recognise them, it is sad loving Burmese and Buddhists deny them their right to belong where they were born. Any Humanitarian Aid collected for the Rohingya needs to be monitored to make sure the Rohs get the aid, in the past they did not get it.
